What is PEMF therapy and what are the benefits?
If you've been following me for a while now, it's guaranteed that you've heard the abbreviation "PEMF" but are still a bit confused with what it all means. That's why I decided to create this post. I hope it brings you some clarity as to what exactly PEMF is and what it can do for you!
First, you should know what PEMF stands for:
Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy
What it does:
PEMF is a cellular exercise that encourages movement of blood flow within the circulatory system to help the body begin to heal itself.
Electromagnetic Pulses will amplify how your body runs on a cellular level. By activating and restoring energy to cells, PEMF sessions are able to reduce pain by decreasing inflammation, increasing cellular flexibility, increasing blood and lymph circulation, and increasing tissue oxygenation. Better circulation allows for faster recovery with less swelling and pain.
How PEMF relieves pain:
There's no denying that each human body is made up of trillions of cells. The health of these cells relies on both positive and negative magnetic charges found in the membrane. Each charge has the responsibility of transferring important elements— called ions— in and around your body. These elements are needed in order for your body to function properly. Over the years and through injury, your cells can start to degenerate. Symptoms that may be a result include: inflammation, fatigue, and pain.
Fortunately, PEMF has the power to target these affected areas and restore the electromagnetic charges.
Benefits of PEMF:
The most common benefits are improved energy levels and a decrease— if not a complete termination— of pain.
There's a whole lost of benefits, which can also be found on my FAQ page.
Increased range of motion
Shorter recovery times
Faster healing of skin wounds
Improved circulation and oxygenation
Increased strength in ligaments
Accelerated nerve regeneration
Nerve and muscle stimulation
PEMF has radically changed my life, and that's why I believe it can change yours as well.
